Trying to convince Daddy to play dolls instead of watching the Super Bowl!

We went to Portland Head Light- Andrew's old summer job location since it was such a beautiful morning!

One of the "activities" at LL Bean was meeting a sled dog team... all of the dogs were SO nice!
It was so nice out Mom and Dad shared an iced coffee so I got a donut hole! Nice teeth!
Clear Blue sky!
Sunday morning walk at Higgins Beach- yes, in February
Getting ready for the tourney!
The back of my tourney T-shirt! Go Whit and Jake!

Our winter is a joke, we live in Maine for a reason- we like snow and we have almost none! Andrew has hardly used his snowmobile, we have only gone skiing 2x and the ice is so thin that it is dangerous. None the less some Maine winter traditions have gone on- one being the High School basketball tournament. Leah only got to go to 2 games- one in Augusta, and one in Bangor. We were very proud of big cousins Jacob and Whitney as both of their teams went to the semi-finals. Jacob's last game did not begin til 8:30 at night so Leah had her first overnight at Nana and Papa's. She did great, me not so much! Here are a few pictures of the past couple of weeks. We also went on a Southern Maine overnight with the Harveys. LL Bean put on lots of free activities for vacation week for the kids so we did a bunch of neat stuff there, let the kids swim in the hotel pool, went to the beach and got to visit the Mulkerns and eat fun food!

Trucking!

As I think I have mentioned before Leah LOVES big trucks (18 wheelers) almost as much as she loves buses! Luckily for her my brother is a truck driver. So today Uncle John called Leah and said he was hauling logs to Dysart's and we could meet him there so Leah could get a ride. So we met him at the scales and rode over the scales with him and then drove across the street to the log yard to have the logs unloaded. She was mesmerized by the whole thing! She loved the crane!

Double Trouble

Leah has had a runny nose for a few days, nothing that seemed that bad. However, last night she was up 2x coughing and so I decided to be safe and take her to the doctor's today. I am sure my students were devastated when I emailed them to cancel class. Our poor baby has a double ear infection!!! The NP could not believe she had not complained more. She is a tough cookie I guess, but it made me feel like a bad mother that I did not take her sooner.

So, we left the doctor's office and went to Rite Aid to have her prescription filled. As Andrew is often at pharmacies, he is normally the one who has picked up Leah's prescriptions and dealt with Joel, our pharmacist, about the insurance stuff that was sort of a mess when Leah was not officially ours. Anyhow, today Joel was like "well at least it's just Aasawari who is sick". I must have had a dumbfounded look because he then said "It's good Leah did not catch it too". Long story short since May Joel has assumed we had twins... Aasawari Harmon and Leah Harmon- since he has filled prescriptions under both names with the same birth date. He assumed he always just saw one of the twins each time we were in there!

Anyhow, on our way out Joel gave Leah Aasawari Harmon a Rite Aid Get Well soon Teddy Bear. Leah normally is not a fan of stuffed animals so I was very surprised to see her immediately hug the bear and say Thank You to Joel. Since we have been home she has not let go of the bear and she and the bear have enjoyed resting and watching Word World together. Here are a few pics...
